… just like any other self-[dis]respecting photo blog needs a flower pic in the summer and autumn colors in late September, there’s got to be one blog post dedicated to the first snowfall as well. Right?
Now that I’ve gathered a reasonably sufficient Strobist-style setup for portable lighting (three second-hand Nikon SB-24 speedlights, “eBay” radio triggers, light stands, umbrella brackets, a big 5-in-1 reflector, a few brollies and a 46″ Photek Softliter II), all I need for mastering studio lighting is
a) space to set up all this cheap crap
b) a willing and extremely patient model
c) lots of time
… and I have none of them.
